WHICH ONLINE COLLEGE TO CHOOSE part 2

ONLINE COLLEGE DEGREE

As a continuation from part 1 of this discussion I will now go to the 2nd most online college around my area and is the Devry University. Just University of Phoenix, Devry offer a vast range of online degrees, a couple of associate degress, but mainly B.S. degrees. Here's a list of their B.S. Biomedical Engineering Technology , Biomedical Informatics , Business Administration , Computer Engineering Technology , Electronics and Network Technology , Technical Management , e.t.c.

Since the topic is accreditation of the online college degrees, here's the infomation for DEVRY:

DeVry University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association (NCA), 30 North LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois, 60602, www.ncahigherlearningcommission.org, 800/621-7440. NCA is listed by the U.S. Department of Education as a recognized accrediting association. The baccalaureate Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) programs at most U.S. locations, as well as the associate-level EET program in North Brunswick, are accredited by the Technology Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (TAC of ABET), 111 Market Place, Baltimore, Maryland, 21202, 410/347-7700. DeVry's Biomedical Engineering Technology (BMET) and Computer Engineering Technology* (CET) programs are relatively new; campus administrators will apply for TAC of ABET accreditation for these programs when their first classes graduate, as will administrators at newer DeVry sites for their TAC of ABET-eligible programs. Information on the status of TAC of ABET accreditation is available at each location. (The CET and EET programs at DeVry/Calgary, offered through the Phoenix campus, are not eligible for this accreditation.) In the United States, current or prospective students may review information regarding accreditation, approval and licensing by contacting the campus president or the center director. NOTE: DeVry operates as DeVry Institute of Technology in New York. The Alpharetta and Tinley Park sites operate as branches of DeVry/Decatur and DeVry/Addison, respectively. NOTE: The South Carolina Commission on Higher Education, 1333 Main Street, Suite 200, Columbia, South Carolina, 29201, 803/737-2260, licenses DeVry University to enroll students from South Carolina at DeVry's Alpharetta, Chicago, Columbus, Decatur, Fort Washington, Miramar, Orlando and Phoenix campuses. Licensure indicates only that minimum standards have been met; it is not equal to or synonymous with accreditation by an accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. * Computer Technology in New York
